To some of us it was incredibly obvious what was going wrong, but a lot of people didn't want to admit the worst. There were also some people that left the group in 2015, two of them became unwelcome in the group due to illegal activity that could've caused legal issues for the rest of the group, and three left because of personal decisions related to a contract that came up in response to an incident with a Mojang employee. Also looking at YouTube numbers does not show how well people in the group are doing, most members moved away from YouTube to streaming on Twitch years ago due to poor ad revenue and business decisions that negatively affected content creators on YT.
With Mindcrack's main focus as a group being on helping people through charity, it doesn't really help get new viewers and grow the group's fanbase. Additionally, the group moved away from Minecraft as it's main focus years ago and while there have been periods of activity on the Mindcrack server, it's almost all been people casually playing on the server which doesn't get viewers like a server with roleplay and events meant specifically for viewers watching. They're still active, but with the changes in group dynamics to more of a casual group of friends that can play games together and with a more mature audience there's less of the hype, analysises, and discussion posts that used to exist, and with the Mindcrack community spread out across 25+ Discord servers and even more Twitch chats, the discussions about the group and members that do happen are hard for new and returning viewers to know about and gain their interest in the group.
